I have offered my services to people of all ages in the Minneapolis area since 1986, and I’m here to give you the personalized attention you deserve so that you can reach your full potential.

Through the study of piano I aspire to develop in my students not only love for music and the arts but also the needed persistence to achieving goals, the perseverance to eventually pursuing any path or career that they will love.
I am very well prepared to teach piano, attested by all my academic experience, but my strongest quality is an innate ability to understand individual needs, desires, learning difficulties or special abilities of my students—young and adult—and therefore adapting a different teaching approach for each of them.

GROUP LESSONS
Team Learning for a Solid, Confident Knowledge
I hold group lessons once a month for all my students. I organize different groups according to age and knowledge. They include theory study through fun and well researched games, ensemble playing, ear training and most importantly, performance opportunities. Students are required to attend group lessons.
Group lessons are offered free of additional charge.
PARTNER LESSONS
Two at a Time: Guaranteed Learning Fun
I love starting young students in partnership with another beginner. The activities can be more dynamic, some individual attention, some learning activities together. This approach gives students positive, constructive ways to learn with an emphasis on confidence-boosting experiences.​

ADULT PIANO FUNDAMENTALS CLASS
For Beginner or Advanced Pianist Fundamentals Class
No matter your level of skill or experience, you’ll gain a lot from taking my Beginner or Advanced Pianist Fundamentals Class. Each class includes practical and theoretical instruction, along with plenty of time to put your new knowledge into practice. Contact me to find out about availability.
